Korea international exhibition focusing on adhesives, coatings, film sheets, coatings and related chemical raw materials

Korea Coating Adhesive Film Exhibition COATING KOREA is the only international exhibition focusing on adhesives, coatings, film sheets, coatings and related chemical raw materials in Korea. The exhibition was sponsored by Korea Coatings Association and supported by Korea Chemical Business Association and other associations. Once a year, the successful 2018 exhibition held in March 2018 once again proves that Korean coatings, adhesives, film exhibition is an exhibition representing Korean industry. More than 200 enterprises from 12 countries and regions, including Russia, Canada, Japan, Iran, Egypt, France and other 20 countries, participated in the exhibition. More than 19,000 spectators attended the exhibition and held business talks with the exhibitors. Many buyers from the main demand side of coatings, adhesives and film related industries at home and abroad visited Korean coatings, adhesives and film exhibitions, and conducted business exchanges and cooperation with exhibitors. South Korea's first COATING SURFACE International Conference "SURFCOAT KOREA" and the 2019 International Surface Treatment, Electroplating Industry, Painting Exhibition. More than 300 experts and industry stakeholders from more than 20 countries will attend the conference and publish new technologies on more than 40 topics in various fields to provide opportunities for information exchange among industries.            

As one of the G20 member countries, Korea has perfect market economy system. Its GDP ranks 15th in the world in terms of international exchange rate and 12th in terms of relative purchasing power. In recent years, the Korean coatings, paints and adhesives market has maintained a steady growth trend, which will continue. The market size will reach US$2 billion by 2015-2018, based on an average annual growth rate of 8%-10%. The fast-growing areas are electronic and electrical, automotive, footwear and shipbuilding functional adhesives. Korea is my third largest trading partner and third largest exporter.
