One-sided Applicator

The Bar-Type One-Sided Applicator is made using modern technology of metallurgy with precision grinding machine. The accuracy of the Gap Depth is ±1.0µm（50µm and below）and or 2% of Full Scale. It is designed with ASTM D 823-25 and ASTM D 3022.It is made of high-grade, corrosion-resistant stainless steel 440C.

The one-sided film applicator is a standard laboratory tool for paints, inks and slurries. It is used to cast uniform wet films of defined thickness on substrates such as glass panels or tin plates, to carry out tests for hiding power, gloss, adhesion, weather resistance and chemical resistance of coatings. It is made from one-piece precision-machined stainless steel, with only one single coating slot on one side. The one-side discharge design minimizes overflow interference and delivers highly repeatable films. Multiple wet-film thicknesses are available.

Application

Latex paints, industrial coatings, anti-corrosion paints, printing inks, color pastes, adhesives, ceramic slurries, lithium battery slurries. Widely adopted in paint QC labs, R&D centers and third-party testing institutes.
