Offset Ink Mixer

NT 776 serials commonly known as ink blender or ink mixing machine in the printing industry, it is special equipment for lithographic offset workshops and ink laboratories. It is designed for homogenizing high-viscosity paste offset ink, solving problems such as pigment sedimentation, stratification and caking of ink after long-term storage. It ensures stable hue, viscosity and ink properties of the ink fed to printing presses, and reduces printing defects including color difference, mottling and ink skin.

Working Principle

Offset inks feature high viscosity and strong thixotropy. Low-speed stirring (typically 0~60 rpm) is adopted. The motor drives an L-type frame mixing paddle. Either the container rotates synchronously, or the paddle circulates along the bucket wall to perform gentle shearing. It breaks up pigment powder settled at the bucket bottom, enabling uniform re-blending of pigments, resins, binders and additives.

Features

  1. Easy and convenient operation. Simply plug in the power and press the start button to run.
  2. Low-speed intermittent stirring along the pail wall. With uniquely designed mixing blade, the ink can be tumbled and sheared during mixing. The ink can be homogenized within 5 minutes without temperature rise after stirring.
  3. Adjustable stirring speed: 0-50 r/min.
  4. Easy replacement of mixing blade (for standard 45L stainless steel pail); one-touch locking for ink pail.
  5. Mixing paddle: L-type paddle, integrally welded structure for easier and faster cleaning.
  6. Adopts cam transmission structure for more stable and controllable operation.
  7. Equipped with 3-inch universal casters for convenient movement.

Main Classification

20L Standard Pail Ink Mixer for Workshop (Most Popular Model) It directly works with original 20L ink pails. One-touch pail locking, one batch of ink can be fully mixed in around 5 minutes. Widely deployed in printing factory warehouses and beside printing machines. Reference parameters: Power approx. 850W, rotation speed 0–60 rpm, ink capacity 5~20kg.

Benchtop Laboratory Ink Mixer (1L/5L/10L) Used for color matching & proofing and small-batch spot color preparation. Compact size with higher mixing precision.

Core Features

✅ Compatible with high-viscosity paste offset inks (conventional lithographic ink, UV offset ink, spot color ink) ✅ Gentle low-speed mixing, no temperature rise, minimal bubbles, preserves the inherent viscosity of ink

✅ Integrated smooth paddle, easy to clean and convenient for color change

✅ Timed mixing function and one-touch pail locking for simple operation

✅ Reduces labor intensity of manual ink shoveling and stirring; improves color consistency in batch printing and lowers reject rate

Application Scenarios

Printing Workshop: Pre-stirring for newly opened ink, rehomogenization of settled stored ink, spot color ink preparation Printing

Laboratory: Color matching & proofing, ink performance testing

Ink Manufacturer: Homogenization of finished ink, sample preparation
