Opacity Meter/ Intelligent Reflectometer
NT 442 Opacity Meter is a portable microcomputer-controlled intelligent reflectometer for coating hiding power testing. It adopts 0° illumination and 45° receiving optical geometry with CIE Illuminant C. This instrument measures reflectance of coloured coatings at fixed spreading rate and automatically calculates and stores contrast ratio data. It supports automatic calibration, USB data export, dual test modes, data storage and query. No warm-up needed, stable long-life light source. Compliant with ISO 3906, ISO 6504, BS 3900, DIN 55984. Widely used for paint, ink and pigment QC and R&D in coating laboratories.
Description
The NT 442 Opacity Meter is our newly developed portable instrument. Controlled by a microcomputer, it integrates multiple functions including measurement, data storage, data processing and data query. Operators can access dozens of functions via only two buttons. Equipped with a large 60mm×32mm display screen, it presents readings clearly. The backlight supports operation in low-light or nighttime conditions.
This Intelligent Reflectometer is mainly designed to test the reflectance of coloured coatings at a specified spreading rate. It can automatically calculate and store contrast ratio values for users to retrieve at any time. It complies with ISO 3906, ISO 6504, BS 3900 and DIN 55984 standards.
